OK, now things are getting weird.
Something that I could not get working before (which was the reason why I was generating pdfs from Reporting Services on subscription) now works.

I know what you mean. My bit of AJAX (which may or may not show the influence of CodeProject...) that tosses the google map gubbins back and forth only works if you put an invisible marker on the map. (you are allowed to remove the invisible marker straight away too).

What I hate, what I really, really hate ....
... is when you fix something, but you don't know why it went wrong in the first place.
I've had problems with some reporting services stuff that wouldn't work. It worked before, but a couple of weeks ago it stopped, so I've had to run them myself and put the pdfs in the appropriate directory for the website to pickup.
Finally this morning I decided to fix it. Start from first principles. After much mucking about, it now works.
The thing is, I cannot for the life of me see how it ever worked before! I'm sure I never changed things. I've been writing some new reports, but I am sure I never changed anything that was already running.
Well, I think I'm sure. I'm the guy who doesn't know what day it is most of the time, so anything could of happened. I really shouldn't be left on my own.Tags: None
