And just remember, when Britain ruled most of Africa, you could ride a motorbike from Egypt to South Africa in reasonable safety.
(Re: The Anthony(?) Smith (The R4 Sideways look chappie) bike ride in 1948?ish, repeated at considerably greater peril in the 1980s).
Well that should bring 'em out if nothing does...

All the chavs were slaughtered in the army or were deported to Australia. Of course you need an officer to lead the chavs to certain death, but with a little luck he will conquer continents.

Guest repliedYou Brits seemed to be obsessed by the notion of truth and justice. But look at your own head of state - she has reached the position through the acts of butchery/exploitation/treachery of her fourbears. Law and order are the means to maintain the status quo and other ageing rock bands.

Where's the justice in less than 10^10 people being alive and kicking and 10^2^88 (or whatever) potential people being no more than inanimate dust and gas spread out across the universe?
For the most part, we have to take the World as we find it and there's no reason to feel guilty about that, except to try and impress others with one's caring attitude.

We need to apply the Iraqi solution on a larger scale, to Iran and beyond. These people respect the word of the ICBM and the nuclear winter. We now have MAD without the mutual.
I suggest we return to basics - a proper King to authorise proper public executions, proper wars, proper justice. Fear and respect are the opium of the masses.

Guest repliedTrue, works in Rwanda, the Congo, Sudan, Iraq, etc ad nauseum - the list is endless, can't see why we've never tried it.Far better we revert to personal justice - the rule of the gun and the personal bazooka system. I can take what I want as long as I am prepared to be shot for it. The strong survive and we can purge society of the layabouts and scroungers.

Guest repliedthe layabouts and scroungers tend to survive.
They tend to have lower moral values and will kill if its easier than working for a living.
The workers work.
The Clint or the Duke arrives and sorts it!

Guest repliedJustice is an ambiguous term. What justice is there in a billion people living in poverty in Africa whilst we throw away food in this country. Where is the justice in some worthless chav winning a million on the lottery. Or a bunch of talentless rock stars telling us how to feed the world. Or a gaggle of skillless contractors taking home 3X a permy wage for posting on this billboard. No, it is the way of the jungle.Luvley Jabber, why even bother with a justice system - let's just rely on the common sense of the cops and move straight to a police state.
