    I really DO have to say things like 'this is not investment advice' because, although I am not an actual investment adviser, I am 'too close to the market' and it gets a bit blurred.

    There is the option of Fixed Term deposits. You may get a massive 2.5% for a one year commitment of GBP50,000+

    Given that inflation is way ahead of any interest rate, get out of cash and into 'stuff'.

    Some people on here must have business bank accounts with > 100K

    The best interest rate I have seen is 2% - Has anyone thought of doing something more adventurous like property bridging finance before?

    How are people making sure that the cash they have is working hard for them
