    Gross.

I'm the same - can't be doing with doughnuts with fillings such as custard, apple etc.

A classic jam filled doughnut is perfect and should not be changed.

    What a rip-off

A packet of doughnuts were being sold for 18p in a 75% price reduction at Sainbury's. I don't often buy them, but for 18p I was a game. After seeing to a few odds and bobs at home I sat down looking forward to pigging out on those doughnuts. So I got them out took a big bite out of one. Eww! It tasted how I imagine those big caterpillars that aborigines eat taste. Sickly. I've only gone and bought a big bag of custard doughnuts

Who the flip eats custard doughnuts? No wonder they were cheap.
