As I have said many times you came from a country that indoctrinated you with partisan political beliefs, you have little ability to think outside of your childhood brainwashing.
The Mujahideen were trained and equipped largely by the CIA duing the Cold War - the Taliban were created as a proxy force by Pakistan Intelligence Agency.
It is still pretty much the same group of people no matter who or where they were trained and equipped from.

Mujahideen is collective name when they unite to fight against foreign occupation, before 9/11 they were fighting against each other as they usually do in brief periods between wars with foreign invaders.
