is SKA actually available for general use now ?

It is under heavy development with alpha version publicly available but not promoted much - I expect this to change at the end of Feb when SKA should hit 1 bln pages indexed with one key ranking algorithm added.

It will most likely hit 2 bln pages indexed in March, at which point I think it would be very usable as there will be enough data to search through.

Sorry AtW, but without ranking algorithms and sponsored links, SKA is still the software equivalent of a big boy's train set, no more than a toy.

I already have (albeit poor) ranking algorithms that will get improved considerably in the following weeks. Can't see relevance of sponsored links.
