Previously on "oh dear: Eriksson to quit with £5m"
Then dont buy England tickets merchandise etc unless you are happy to give some Swede a whopping 5 million for nowt.
I doubt fans care either - they just want atmosphere of competition, tshirts, booze in pub etc. They don't mind to be ripped off totally by FA, Sven, Bechkam, their agents charging £1.5 mln (!) per deal etc.
How can you say he is being paid to fail? Unless of course, like the rest of the civilised world, you think England will not win the poofball world cup?
Mailman
MM he is going to be 5 million richer if he fails to win the World Cup.

Incredible to think that irrespective of Englands performance he can walk off with 5 million and what exactly has he achieved ?
Exactly - just what kind of contract is that ffs, even £1 mln is £1 mln too much for failure, but to have £5 mln just so that he could walk off, ffs, fire whoever created such contract!
One has to ask the question though, what were the tabloids after by running this dirty little campaign so close to the world cup?
Sure run these stories AFTER the world cup (when England once again bombs out before even getting close to the finals) but for the love of god, why run such a story now that will not only distract the manager but most likely also distract the players?
Mailman
Perhaps Sven orchestrated this little story.
Then if he wins the World Cup, the press will love him and he will get the job for life.............
