Where house prices are rising fastest
House prices continued their unlikely revival and are now within 10% of their 2007 peak, according to Nationwide building society.
Prices jumped 0.5% in May alone and the average home is worth 12.2% more than in February 2009, figures show.
But while that national figure might provide some comfort, it also masks serious differences between how different parts of the country have performed.
To help clear this up, MSN Money has teamed up with property specialists Zoopla.co.uk to find out exactly where house prices are rising fastest.
We can now exclusively reveal the 10 regions in Great Britain where house prices have risen the most in the last 12 months.
And the winner is........
..... Cornwall.
