    Disgraceful
Spot on MF. Mexico played like a team that wanted to win, they were hungry for it, whereas england played like a team that expected victory to be handed to them on a plate simply because they'd bothered to turn up.

Can't help saying "Donkey" in a reproachful Shrek-like accent whenever Heskey gets the ball.

    WHS.

What was funny was the pre match interviews where every pundit said Algeria was very very poor and this was a walk over. They predicted 3-0, 4-0 etc.

It is a bit late for that now.

I might be a big piss-head but I draw the line at starting drinking before noon (sparkling wine with breakfast doesn't count, obviously ). That said, it will be noon shortly.

SY01 - the punditry was world class in comparison to the footie.

That one will be in the middle of the night for me and it is mid-week. I probably wont watch that one.

Zippy, we are aligned. You are always spot on with your comments, be it about pundits or players or managers. I assume a good upbringing. A real breath of fresh air from listening to all the "Eaton wannabees" and sweaty socks on here.

@Shaunboy : Good quality banter mate, love it

3 hours of football and Robert Green is still joint top scorer!

    4) Why did our players look so nervous? Fabio had given John Terry their wives' mobile numbers

    7) Carragher - why? Not a problem for the next match - he is banned!

I could go on but I'm off to get drunk now. Good plan!

Total joke Mr Capello, you have lost the frakin plot. Go easy on him....it is his Birthday, and he has received hundreds of Postman Pat Birthday cards!
