I don't get youtube in work but is it the video to start me up that is one of the reasons why people should not like the stones.
How much charlie must he have been taking to do that?

Everyone was doing it then, everyone is doing it now. Much kudos to the likes of the Artic Monkeys for not going down the homogenized route.Originally posted by minestrone View PostHis fake american accent is brutal. Totally brutal.
Quite interesting documentary (in a ch 5 way) on Simon Cowel. Not the self made man he makes out to be, Daddy (on the board at EMI) gave him quite a few helping hands.

Really good songwriters those X-Factor guys too.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostInteresting "post-taco" chit chat last night included a seething attack on Mick Jagger from my father in law. "Useless", "can't sing" were among the retorts. I obviously "you-tubed" some tracks for study, and did notice that he did miss notes IF you gave it that X Factor style scrutiny.
Which set me thinking, since the dawn of such TV shows, are we now much more picky about the standard of modern singers, and if so, which "classic" and "hall of fame" type singers of days gone by would most likely fall on their arses in the first round of X Factor?
(Sorry Mr Jagger)

So Churchill, what was the last album you bought? Seriously.

WTF, Churchill ? – You always struck me as a reasonable chap in the past, probably worth having an ale with. Yeah, you couldn’t help but let people know you are a big unit when someone called you a twonk, or someone else would chip that in for you (as if anyone would care or be intimidated since leaving school). But now – Every thread I read is you trying to get the better of some other nobber with pointless abuse, you must be doing something right as CM always comes across as smart, funny and good fun, for her sake if not your own – get a grip man, try not to grab the bait everytime or at least inject some wit into the abuse !

Do you two ladies want your own thread? Would you like me to start one for you before you hurtle out of control over every other one?Originally posted by Churchill View PostYou're a liar, an alcoholic and ill-educated fantasist.
