Yes those signs are nice. Had a pleasant drive to Luxembourg yesterday but due to Frau D. being with me was not allowed to boot it, only got up to about 130mph. There was one stretch on the A8 which was dead straight with no cars on it and went on for about 3km. We were doing 180 and I looked at her and said, "you know I could do at least another 100 on top now." The road was just asking for it but the withering look I received back put a damper on it

At least when you crash and die your death will be quick.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostSailed up to 120mph on the way home, still I was being passed.
What's scary is you'll look in rear view mirror before going to the outside lane, nothing coming, you go out and 10 seconds later there's a mercedes insignia filling the entire rear window...
I hope you don't take any others out with you.

Driving from Turin to Milan a couple of weekends ago. Three lane motorway, inside lane is minimum 90km/h, middle lane minimum 70km/h.
I was in the outside lane doing 140 and still being passed in both lanes.

Or ice... there does seem to be a bit of snow around.Originally posted by LightshipBased just on the video, it looks more like driver inattentiveness, rather than speed, was the cause of the accident.
As the road gently curves, the driver appears to continue in a straight line, right into the guard rail. The rest, as they say, is history.

He's in Berlin. It says so next to his post. You need new specs.

This sign means a maxmum speed of 60 or 70mph in the UK. You need a new car.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostThe sun is out the roof folded back and the foot pressed hard to the floor
