LOL!
Wife dragged me down before Xmas (despite me Amazoning everything and thought I was safe). It was eerily quiet and empty compared to 4 years ago apart from the PoundSaver stores in the old shopping centre - full to the brim with "bargain" hunters.
And I wish they had some bloody stairs instead of those archaic lifts...

Peacocks food hall...chav/pikey village
Oh yes...I blame Primark! Its caused a migration of all the pikeys from Chobham..they used to shop in Camberley....like you say though...good entertainment. I may get a part-time job in McD's and start putting cyanide in the burgers

I can thoroughly recommend the Peacocks centre in Woking for good lunchtime chav entertainment. See if you can spot the group of doleys that shout constantly at each other surrounded by a pile of Merrydown bottles, rollup butts and sputum.Originally posted by mikethebikeStay in the Holiday Inn in Woking, then 30 minutes up to town. Last time I was in London I was sitting in the back of a taxi and an SLR pulled up alongside, which was nice. The taxi dropped me off at the hotel and I picked up the car as I had to go down to a customer in Slough and the SLR was still stuck in traffic. I pulled up alongside him at the lights, waved bye bye and shot off. What is the point of having such a car in the middle of London? (Apart from the fact he could go under lorries.)Originally posted by mikethebikeStay in the Holiday Inn in Woking, then 30 minutes up to town. Try Ibis in Euston. Never stayed there myself, but have used their (cheapish) car park on a number of occasions.
