Your in the Netherlands, not unusual to get flowers on your first day or your last. Something they forgot to tell you
When I worked in Den Haag briefly in 2000/2001, one of the English guys was given a leaving pressie on his last day. He opened it amongst a throng of fellow workmates to find it was a plastic vagina. To much merriment he responded "That's nice............Two Lips from Amsterdam!"
Boom boom!!
They've found three people, who all turned them down, now they've found another one who wants 80k per year, they made him an offer last week and he hasn't called back.
