I listened with eager anticipation, not least hoping to hear him say he's scrapping ID cards and fingerprint passports*. It seemed a bit ironic then, that his first annoucement was the appointment of another committee of shiny arsed civil servants. I thought he was supposed to be cutting things? Overall, though, it didn't sound too bad.
* Not to be confused with biometric passports which we already have and I don't oppose.
