afternoon Sas,Originally posted by sasguru View PostYou're one of these sad materialist fookers whose kitchen is for show and who can't make toast, aren't you?

to attempt to answer your question and without getting down to the discussion of culinary expertise, in our house at least, the kitchen is probably the room in the house where we spend the most time, in which case, why not to have the room well equipped and comfortable and resulting that spending time there becomes a pleasure rather than a chore ?

Paddy, using the same logic, are you suggesting the kitchen should not have miele applicances, granite worktops, and solid oak furniture and instead the same money should be spent on employing the kitchen team from a restaurant ?
compared to the kitchen appliances, the Weber Rotisserie is a bargain
