I'm not surprised Stalin got away with torturing, raping, maiming and murdering millions of your people, the democratic process in this country seems, I might say, foreign to you.Originally posted by AtW View Post"Asked if the Tories would support a referendum on AV if it was proposed by Labour, Hague said Labour was proposing introducing AV without a referendum.

So, Tories (as I thought) offered just referendum (probably long time away to ensure Lib Dems don't split off), and will be able to campaign against it!
Well, I'd say we are going to have Lab-Lib Govt soon.

Hmmmm, so now the tories announce they will "go the extra mile" on AV. Sticking to principles and not desperate at all, obviously.
I'm surprised at the tories sense of entitlement. Its not like them at all.......

And how effective an opposition they can be too. A raggle-taggle disjointed band of disparate interests, all of whom have emerged from the latest election with reduced electorate support, all jostling to feather their own best interests. Everything from rampant Nationalists to Champagne Socialists to limp gutless Liberals. What a flimsy pack of cards that will produce. Being a strong opposition to that mob, led as they surely will be by a second consecutive unelected PM, will be meat and drink to the Tories. They can sit and wait for the whole thing to collapse in internecine squabbling and indecision, then clean up at the next election later in the year. Might be what they have been aiming for all along. Give 'em enough rope I say.Originally posted by AtW View PostTheir offer is bollox - I can accept that referendum might be necessary, however if they say they can campaign against then the deal is worthless: they either agree to reform in which case they get a deal, or they don't - in which case they can continue being opposition.

It seems to me that they've made massive mistake assuming they will get deal, retards - should have offered what Nick wanted and close it within 24 hours.

Nice trolling post AtW you f*ckwit!Originally posted by AtW View PostYes and given that in this case Labour are clearly offering immediate voting on reform so that Lib Dems get what they want straight away.
Frankly as much as I hate Nu Liebor they are making right offer and if I was Nick I'd go with Liebor because going with Cons will get fook all to Lib Dems.
Looks like Cons don't actually want to govern.

No right minded contractor would ever vote anything but Tory!
It makes me sick to the stomach to think we might land up with a minority government of Union Gobtulipes and Bedwetters. We may as well call it the TPD Government!

Where the fook do you get that from?Originally posted by AtW View Postgiven that in this case Labour are clearly offering immediate voting on reform
I read it that Labour are "proposing" introducing it. There is nothing to stop them doing another u-turn at the eleventh hour.
Jeezz.....good thing gullible clowns like you don't have a vote.

AtW,
Gordon was "proposing a referendum" on joining the EU. We are still waiting. You should realise that you can always tell when Gordon/NL is/are being economical with the truth....his lips are moving.
