    The brilliant thing about the child's picture is that it's actually correct in almost every way. The only slight criticism I can make is the shape of the mound, which is perhaps a little too steep for a stratovolcano. Not enough to avoid the 8 year old being awarded a 9 1/2 out of 10 and an effort star though.

    It was taken on March 24, before the plume spread out over Europe.
