I went to one a few years back.... 25 years on....
What was frightening was how many people I recognised instantly.... and how many I thought were winkers then and still thought they were winkers 25 years later.....
Oh and Kathy...... who was even more scrumptious than she was when I "went out with her" at about 14....... My mum drove us to the "Pictures"..... and then drove her home afterwards....... I didn't even get a peck on the cheek..... although I did make a brave attempt at a grope in the dark.... but being very innocent back then I probably only squeezed her shoulder.... still it kept me up most of the night <fnaar fnaar>....

If I want to attend a school reunion I just need to head for Barlinnie Prison at visiting time.

School reunion? Christ I'd rather poke my own eyes out with a frozen carrot!
I'm just glad they pulled the convent down and built an old folks home on the site.
The person I wanted to keep in touch with I have, the others hold no interest for me.

I always think of this, when I think about reunions
from the Pogues, 'A rainy night in Soho'
We watched our friends grow up together
And we saw them as they fell
Some of them fell into Heaven
Some of them fell into Hell

Funnily I got an email yesterday via Friends Reunited from an ex-girlfriend from school when I was 14/15. She's just got divorced and wondering what I was up to and wanted to meet up!!!
I'm obviously still a good looking bloke with loads of charisma & personality but I wonder how she could garner all of that from one email with no photos

School reunion
A few years ago I went to a school reunion after some 20-25 years and that was very interesting.
2 quiet guys from back then pierced up to the eyeballs.
Coppers, Bank Managers, Factory workers, Housewives, Nurses a real mixed bag.
People flew in from Oz, Canada, Misc European countries.
Some still single, married, divorced, some re-married, some re-divorced.
My headmaster asked me who I was, as I am a bit rounder now than i was then.
My P.E. teacher was there, funny how hatred doesn't always fade over time, he was a bar-steward to anyone who didn't have Olympic potential.
Couple of ex girlfriends, Phew, lucky escape, although one was still quite fine.
The one person who stood out in my mind was this pretty stick insect back then, who has 4 kids and really shows it!!
Then we all went to the underage football club disco to join the 16/17 year olds, that we used to frequent back in the day, really fun evening. If you get a chance to attend a reunion, Do it!
