You clearly wish to turn every criticism of the incumbent government into a party political tit for tat, yet you cannot bring yourself to admit you are a labour supporter. What you do not understand is that people's political views are no longer structured along party political ideologies and policies. So even though you like to counter every criticism of your precious bunch of socialist spongers with a pop at the Torys, you do not realise that most people are not interested in the Tories either.

Sir John Butterfill. No news on his fate yet. He was embroiled in the expenses row and voluntarily paid back £17,500.

Butterfill is one of the 98 MPs who voted to keep their expense details secret.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear he was standing down at the next election, possibly to "spend more time with his family".

Maybe Labour can stick the knife in and get rid of them, and then claim decisiveness on sleaze in the runup to the election.
