There was a very interesting programme on TV last night presented by the historian/Blair autobiographer/Headmaster of wellington Dr Seldon that looked at how the relationship between MPs, government and the people should change.
Once again thanks for the detailed analysis of me dodgy. What you don't understand (to quote your own pompous bollocks straight back) is that I don't blindly follow any one party. If you could drop the daft epithets about anyone who doesn't share your narrow Tory view of everything you might realise we have more in common than you dare admit. I watched the Dispatches programme and I honestly wanted to strike Hoon in the face for his smug atttitude - in contrast I felt a bit sorry for the bumbling wannabe "Sir" Bufton Tufton who appears to have cocked up his cosy seat in Lords.

Sir John Butterfill. No news on his fate yet. He was embroiled in the expenses row and voluntarily paid back £17,500.

Butterfill is one of the 98 MPs who voted to keep their expense details secret.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear he was standing down at the next election, possibly to "spend more time with his family".

Yes, I thought it was a little coincidental that these two were suddenly in the frame and as per this mornings news, now expelled from the PLP. He's a sly bugger that Mandy.
