"should I get the straight Centrino 1.86ghz or the 2.0ghz"

The 1.86 ghz is somewhat faster that the zero ghz in your current laptop.

Is there a big difference ?

Does anyone have a graph showing a comparison between P4 x ghz and Centrino x ghz as I am confused about these centrino's and how they compare to the good old P4

    Thanks,

    Milan.
Buy a P4, much more robust processor. More power hungry but better performance. No, I don't have a pretty picture to back that up with, it's common sense!!

Well, my personal falvour of common sense would find a lappy with an AMD chipset as I am not a fan of Intel.
