I have an original Apple computer.... with a 5 1/4 floppy disk will hand it down to other generations and eventually might be worth something.

The 1.86 ghz is somewhat faster that the zero ghz in your current laptop.

Does anyone have a graph showing a comparison between P4 x ghz and Centrino x ghz as I am confused about these centrino's and how they compare to the good old P4

Well, my personal falvour of common sense would find a lappy with an AMD chipset as I am not a fan of Intel.
