    Long story: I used to share it 50/50, but living there myself only for the last 3 years. Moving out in a month to a nicer looking roomier house, less bedrooms (3 I reckon) but bigger

    Just be careful when you upgrade that bedsit! Remember most people don't live, sleep, wash, pee, cook and watch porn in the same room.

    Perhaps start with a small flat with a seperate shower/bathroom. That way at least you can stop peeing in the kitchen sink.

    You forgot to mention I'm not even in the UK either, HTH.

    (Though I object to perma temp comment, I contracted for nigh on 10 years in the UK and overseas till the rates got so low it wasn't worth it any more).
