There are a lot of meals I haven't eaten in ages that I am quite not to have eaten for ages. I'll never forget the time we were once served up sheeps' brains as a school dinner way back when. We used to have these scary women who would ensure that you ate it too. The Gestapo in drag was what Dave Allen used to call dinner ladies. Very fitting.

Doddle to make and even though it's basically just egg and potato with a bit of seasoning (onions and garlic are seasoning in my mind) damn tasty.Originally posted by lightng View PostSpanish frittata sounds nice. Another vote for heart. I used to have to cut up boiled heart for the dog. The dog was lucky she ever got any.
I don't like puddings do people remember a school pudding called Gypsy Tart?

Given those ingredients I would make a Spanish Frittata.Originally posted by lightng View PostBugger all in the fridge except eggs and potatoes. Couldn't be bothered shopping so just made egg and chips.
Haven't had it since I was a kid. Lovely.
Am I middle class?

A couple of dishes I had when I used to live in Spain:
1) Octupus in it's own ink. Comes in a bowl and the "ink" is pitch black.
2) Pig's ear in tomatoe sauce, served as a tapa, very crunchy, not surprisingly !
