    I think some people, myself possibly included, after reading that wouldn't exactly give a damn if he couldn't ever 'put it behind him and move on'. Likewise I don't think many will be sympathising with him that its lost his wife as a result of torturing and then murdering in the most horrible possible way an absolutely innocent and defenceless child.

    The other article on the case is even more sobering reading, and perhaps puts yours and the judges comment that he "abused his role as a father" into perspective...
