The smilie is a large full round stop

In our school we had pretty strict teachers - saying "we will" instead of "we shall" was deemed a very serious mistake.

P.S. I do agree comma usage is very poor in modern English, its usage is much stricter ruled in Russian language - 2 mistakes with commas were making up serious mistake which was leading to a reduction in grade by 1, with 5 being top grade and 2 being fail it was pretty harsh...

She will when it starts bringing them in for her.

She'll really like it when the "dead" frogs start appearing (I've noticed that ours bring in frogs which play dead and then disappear, only to be found a week or so later stinking the place out and really dead).

You ought to see how commas go in Danish.

For fun they changed the comma law in 1996, to make it more bizarre, <Judge Dred voice> And it is the Law! </Judge Dred voice>

Ever since I had gastric surgery I've found it difficult to eat dense meat like steak or a joint of pork / chops...

I do enjoy fish and seafood more now.

    My tastes have greatly changed.

I had a nice surprise yesterday in the works canteen,

Cheeseburger and chips and as much salad as I could eat. Forget the MacD or BurgerKing variety. Twas was good stuff,

An incredible cut above previous canteens and not quite as expensive either.

I generally don't eat meat when I'm out and tend to stick to locally shot game when at home. I couldn't be veggie though, for some people it's very black and white but for me there are times I just eat what's stuck in front of me to avoid waste and / or offence.
