    You have to change your profile so that people can see if you have looked at their profile and that is the only way that you can see who has viewed yours without having to pay.

    I have started getting involved in group discussions, some are interesting and some not.

    A google search for a certain well regarded enterprise application combined with the database technology which I specialise in returns my linkedin profile on the first page of results.
    It used to be top but I seem to have slipped down the rankings!

    Peeps in certain investigative roles have odd profiles, so people can't work out who it is looking at their details.

    Although one tries to get them to use a profile that doesn't make them stick out like a sore thumb, it is nearly impossible to get low level grunts to understand this stuff.
