    Never seen it since.
    Fook all wrong with Tizer

Yes it is a shame. In my twenties I thought that a milk round would be a good Plan B. Fresh air, physical exercise and your own boss.

Root beer used to be the tastiest thing about Maccy D's. It tasted of TCP.
When they took that away I moved onto their vanilla milkshakes (with an espresso shot in in on a bad morning). I haven't dined beneath the golden arches for about 8 years now but I hope they still do them.

When i was an art student in Cardiff, we used to drink sarsaparilla in coffee bars, never seen it since. Although I think it was a bit like dandelion & burdock.

That's tapping a vein of old school Lancs class resentment. There are thousands of textile barons and supermarket owners up there who wouldn't be seen dead in 1st Class and would rather pay the extra. For another tenner they let you bring your own Tupperware 'snap'.

in a similar vein, am in the process of booking a train ticket to london from manchester next week, and the standard class fare is £109.00 each way, first class is £74.00 each way.

    Bonkers!

Yes, everyone else in the world loves it or they're too scared to try it in case something happens ...apparently.
