The Importance of Reading

Reading's pretty good. Nice pubs/restaurants/shops, some attractive architecture, river through the middle for nice walks, paddles, cycles, and you're a stone's throw from some lovely countryside. Decent schools too (if you can get into them.)

I've lived there for months at a time.
How do I get out of contracting?

The other good thing going for it.... it's not London.

Lived in Reading 1990 - 1994. Only thing it had going for it was an excellent Blackwells, and good rail links.

I keep seeing job ads for "London, England" then when reading the spec it's actually in Reading
