Fred: "Bill, did you put the new boy on the ceramic package printer?"

    Bill: "Yes, why?"

Fred: "You do know he's dyslexic, don't you?"

Bill: "Yes, wh ... oh. Oops. How many has he cocked up?"

    Fred: "Only about a gross."

Bill: "Sorry. What should we do?"

Fred: "Don't worry. I have an idea - let's turn this negative into a positive and use it as an opportunity to make Marketing look stupid."

Bill: "What are you going to do?"

Fred: "What we'll do is this..."

thanks for your efforts, guys (and gals).

That's females, rather than other GALs by the way.

I don't think that datasheet is ever going to turn up.

I was only vaguely interested in what the thing was, and for two free samples, it really doesn't matter much.

It just irritated me a bit that I couldn't find any data, and now it would appear that no one else can either.

    I feel better now.

    Oooooom.
Worryingly, it seems that CUK is now one of the web's foremost sources of information on the elusive TLC2740

It is useless to him without the datasheet for that specific component.
I had books and books of datasheets, from years ago. But I think I chucked them all out. CBA to go look

Yeah, thought they played on the Western setting too much.

Double-check that is what they are. If so, drop them in the bin.

    Sorted.

If you don't know their spec., you don't need them.

If you cannot find them online, they never existed.

Dial-ups work much quicker if you attach a TLC2740 to boost the signal.
