Bolivia at number 1 for me. Crossed the border into Chile and immediately felt the cold, snobbish European attitude and the Spanish there is incomprehensible.Originally posted by fckvwls View PostYeah, but behind Brazil and Chile. Number 1 destination in S America for me, loved it there.

As I said, so would I. But as I said, out of the 14 that I listed, my partner is really only interested in 1. She doesn't necessarily have a problem with the people from the others, she just doesn't want to live there.Originally posted by fckvwls View PostWhy no love for the argies? It is on the list.
I'd have it nearer the top though, but like most of South America I'm only choosing to think of the romantic version.

I'd live in any of them, but my partner is really keen on only one of them so I guess that's my exit plan fixed.

Wot, no Ireland?
At least the constant rain, 5 euro pints and 25% unemployment are keeping the immigrants out.....

Also a good choice. I didn't get it in my classification but I rather like it. Bits of it anyway: living in a canalside flat in Utrecht is great, but from the look of things I saw when I got on the wrong train somewhere in the southern area of Amsterdam, not everywhere is so appealing.Originally posted by norrahe View PostI'm aiming for no.11 this year.
