We were forecast light snow overnight, but aside from one minuscule snowflake none seem to have landed. We're forecast heavy snow on Tuesday though, on the BBC site , but rain on another site

Still snowing quite heavily here, I'm going out shortly so will have to clear off the car (again)

Not had any snow for a few days - blooming cold though.
AND Pogle Jr's school is open tomorrow - so its back to the usual routine.
We'd have had no problem getting to school this week as we walk anyway, but i suspect the council were concerned about being sued if people fell over and hurt themselves on school property. The prospect of litigation seems to govern everything theses days.

The bin men have not come yet.
They didn't collect the recycling yesterday as they should have done.
So the Missus has checked the council web site: they are only collecting from gritted roads. We are in a cul-de-sac on an estate, ungritted.
They don't collect on bank holidays.
Our bin collection day fell on Xmas Day. And New Year's Day.
On 18th December we went and saw my Dad so didn't put the bin out.
Our outside bin has not been emptied since 11th December and now won't be until 15th January.
It's a good job it is cold out there.
