Naw I think you mean Epiphany - or 'little Christmas' Ascension day is 40 days after Easter.

nah, it's all about eating lots of food, drinking too much, and buying lots of useless tat for people.
Wifey makes sure the decorations are all down before the new year. thinks it's bad luck to leave them up into the new year
