Previously on "GRRRR Tesco just put up price of Harry Potter DVD!"
The last three times I have bought either a Wii game or DVD from Tesco the checkout girl hasn't taken the security tag / lock bit off and they are a bit of a bugger to get off but can be done. Anyway, the point is, they either don't work or they aren't activated at the exit scanners.
So, if you're that bothered about the price, 'Downium Trouserius!'
They deactivate it by rubbing it against a pad at the till. They don't remove the security strip.
