Sometimes, the client asks for that many - when, for example, he's gone to every PSL agency and a few specialists and has only been sent 1 suitable candidate. Perhaps the client has little faith in the agent's judgement and want to screen for themselves. In which case the agency should get the token margin of 5% for handling payroll and dropped from the books for a less-complacent agency who has staff that ACTUALLY KNOW SOMETHING about the technologies they're recruiting in.

    Muppets.

If they take David Brents advice and throw away the top half of the CVs on the pile to avoid employing unlucky people, then thats only 15 candidates (all of whom are lucky) to consider....

However, I have had no dealings with them since they became NetworkersMSB so cannot comment on whether they have changed.
    Evidently they have not changed.

    Strange thread?

Of course we believe EVERYTHING an agency tells us!

This is spooky because an agent told me exactly the same thing today - someone from Networkers MSB. It didnt make any sense because most clients insist on receiving only 3/4 CVs and that from a selection of 2/3 agencies within their PSL. So the maximum they should have received is around 12 from all the agencies.
