A Poem
....... I wrote while sitting in a workshop today
There I sit
Taking the hit
Why oh why
Did my suggestion not fly
Thought it was a great idea
Should have allayed my fear
Instead it brought a sense of panic
The expressions on their faces was static
The architects talked about
Physicals, logicals and conceptuals
The sales bods tried to force out
Purchase orders, invoices and contractuals
I asked what the end was
Where were we going
I was not seduced by the critical mass
Should we consider stopping
The horror was evident
If looks could kill…
I suggested we move on
The relief all around thawed the chill
So what now I wonder
More money down the drain
Was my suggestion such a shocker
Toot toot all aboard the gravy trainTags: None
