I was lying in bed this morning, looking at the clock, ten minutes before I have to make a move. There was a pigeon cooing outside the window and it took me back to when I was about ten.
Lying in a tent at a scouts jamboree, just about dawn, listening to a woodpecker hammer away at a tree, and an owl hooting in the distance.
