    On a whim (no, not a quim), I entered the name & address of the previous user of my NTL phone number into the BT Directory enquiries thingy.

    Lo! And his name & address duly appeared. Magic.

    Then had a further thought & went to 118188.com & did the same thing: Lo! yet again.

    Then had a further further thought & went to www.192.com & did the same:

    Lo! His name & address appears, his wife's name & address appears, and it also does a search for directorships...

    So I do the same with my name & address & lo! My name & number appears (number is of course the same as his), plus the directorship of my now defunct company, courtesy of Dunn & Bradstreet. With the telephone number & fax number to boot.

    Scarey.


    They didn't let on that I'm a Giant Alien Lizard though, so that's ok.
