    Indeed

When I installed Windows 7, I replaced the hard drives completely, so I had XP safe and sound just in case. Put the new drives in and installed Windows 7, then started to restore from the backup.

Which I then found out hadn't copied everything, because I just used xcopy to copy the files that had changed, without realising that xcopy doesn't copy long filenames.

Had to remove the 2 new drives, put the 3 old ones back in, backup again properly, remove the 3 drives, put 2 new ones back in, restore.

    Simple.

We have just had them create and deliver us a hot fix for Excel 2007 and it doesn't work. Funny that!

Yes, but for some hardware, it fails to load correctly and so you end up with no driver.

    Or something.

I had the same problem with one of my PC's.

Almost none of the hardware had drivers for Win 7.

Buy a Mac. A big one.

Did the same. And you are right the functionality is down, but still you don't have sh*tty vista on there, so all good.
