    They should have big screens showing the petulant antics of players should they offend, maybe the camera controller could follow the offending player so the crowd could boo until they STFU.

    Is it now time for video technology to be introduced into football? Horrendous decisions go un-noticed.

    I am a rugby fan rather than football and it works well in rugby matches - primarily for disputed tries. However, is that due to difference in respect towards the referree in rugby or can such a scheme be made to work in football?

    Of course, referees in rugby still make bad decisions but typically during the course of the game rather than at point scoring situations.
