Time? SATA is fast enough - given that it works out 10 times cheaper it's a no brainer, though we'll use SAS disks for some small DBs later.

£429.32 ex vat, so I need 2 of these to get to single 2 TB "desktop" SATA - that's 8 times over price, then I'll need to double number of servers to hold double number of disks, FYI our database server uses 24 disk slots
