Wouldn't that mean, that if someone went back in time they could never go back to their future? Due to the multiply decisions they made during their visit? Wouldn't they have created their 'own' alternate future?

Each alternate reality is played out blissfully ignorant of the others, think of it as a tree with each branch representing a decision, going back in time just creates another branch with more branches... I told you God was more plausible.

Depends on the interpretation. I kinda like the Copenhagen Interpretation which basically says that this is a load of maths that fits the results, where you're looking, but it ain't reality. Whatever else is going off, especially where you're not looking, is something other.
