    Each alternate reality is played out blissfully ignorant of the others, think of it as a tree with each branch representing a decision, going back in time just creates another branch with more branches... I told you God was more plausible.

    Depends on the interpretation. I kinda like the Copenhagen Interpretation which basically says that this is a load of maths that fits the results, where you're looking, but it ain't reality. Whatever else is going off, especially where you're not looking, is something other.
