Officer on wacky baccy accosts three Polish youths smoking fags - claims they were aliens and could run faster than the speed of light etc. etc.

Later that evening he found a magical miniature dragon who he put in a mysterious casket and drove around the track of his train set, however after sitting in his time machine living room chair he woke up back in 2009 and found his dragon had become a manky old cocktail sausage in an old packet of Swan Vestas, to top it off the cunning aliens had surrounded him in empty cans of Tenents Super to discredit his story, but HE knew the truth.

    You couldn't make it up.

The officer returned to his home in Marlborough, Wiltshire, and contacted paranormal experts and told them he had spotted a UFO.
I thought he saw beings running, not objects flying?

The sergeant, who has not been named, was off-duty when he saw the figures standing in a field near Silbury Hill, and stopped his car to investigate.

However, as he approached the 'men' – all over 6ft tall with blond hair – he heard "the sound of static electricity" and the trio ran away ''faster than any man he had ever seen''.

Maybe they were running down Silbury Hill at the time??

Anyway where would they be running to??

There is not much in that area apart from the car park, Avebury, the prehistoric burial chambers. Maybe its his way of saying he didnt get a very good look at them and they got away anyway??

Hmm, I've seen similar things, pink elephants and such. And I was positive that I could fly.......and I had a pounding headache the whole of the next day too!!! Does that qualify as a close encounter of the second kind?
