It's a sad thing to say but the future seems to lie with mainland Europe. Whilst the UK listened to the one eyed snot goblin and sat on their laurels, the rest of Europe did what was necessary to bring their economies back to life.

While the rest of the EU may have some way to go, markets have picked up and the UK is long way behind.
