Which is the just about captures the problem with Brown. He thinks that the only genuine businesses in this country are big corporates. Ergo his idea of supporting it is supporting Big Companies, when the truth is that with most corporates anything approaching the free-thinking required of being an entrepreneur has been squeezed out.

And all it achieves is to create one or two new employees within safe & ready established corporations - hardly new businesses.

Well you got that bit right Brown ... understatement of the year.

Maybe the aggressive and punitive tax regime alongside the myriad of regulation developed under your watch Brown is the route cause - you idiot.

Maybe the real reason behind Brown's sentiments is his tax revenues continue spiralling downward as more small businesses succumb to the Inland Revenue and more of their clients relocate overseas.

"By next year, the government promises, every school in the UK will give 14 to 16-year-olds the chance to learn about business and enterprise."

Yea right - and what exactly do civil servants know about running a business ?

The most valuable genuine advice that could be given to these youngsters is:

"If you take the plunge - FFS don't do it here in the UK because the UK Government has a huge army of civil servants absolutely chomping at the bit to close you down the first opportunity they get".
