    Just been raised in PMQs by a Tory MP who's been informed by a General in the British controlled area, that requests for more troops have been rejected by the Gov't.

    Official requests submitted for additional troops to seal border with Iran and carry out intercept missions on hi-tec weaponry being brought over that border and used to kill British servicemen.

    This could become enormously embarassing for Blair & Gov't and re-ignite the whole Iraq debacle again.
