DOOMED: ICT will allow foreign graduates in instead
Not a lot of quickness, but plenty more cheapness. Stinky linky.
IT graduates could lose out to overseas workers
IT graduates in the UK could lose out on opportunities to foreign workers if new immigration proposals are accepted by the government. The government is planning on making graduates eligible for intra-company transfers (ICTs).
Proposals from the Home Office's Migration Advisory Committee suggest that graduates would be eligible for a transfer after three months of working for a company.
How are we supposed to compete with them? It's bad enough competing with the consultancies selling our home-grown, work-experience-free graduates.Tags: None
