hopelessly outclassed and outnumbered, in and out of crates more frequently than a jack-in-a-box; half a dozen gloster gladiators were the air defence for malta against the military might of italy and germany at the outbreak of the second world war.

so i’m imagining a long lost film called 'the hospital pass 'by powell and pressburger staring a esmond knight and anthony quinn. a classic if ever there aught to be one and that is my favourite film about galdiators.

My favourite is Gladiator

fantastic movie with James Marshall and Cuba Gooding Jr, very poignant and a good alternative to any balboa movie

excellent soundtrack too
