    Decent discount, happy anyway.

    Their FA did call and spouted usual pimp muck about if we don't go to the office and see the FA, the estate agent is liable for all the vendor costs should the sale not go through.

    If that's in the contract between agent and vendor then the agent needs to negotiate better.

    That's a pretty unusual lie. They might try and foist their IFA (or FA) on you, but if you've got a mortgage offer they won't turn you down...
