They probably think that iPhone buyers have already paid over the odds for technology that's only just catching up so they won't mind paying over the odds for their software.

Sheesh.
Given a very small proportion of apps exceed the £3 bracket, this seems a bit rich from TomTom. Only the bracket and GPS amplifier would address that, but to the tune of £100? Really? Does it cost that much to manufacture the hardware?
Doesn't seem like good business sense to me - even at £70 they'd probably make tonnes more cash selling to a wider market.Tags: None
